Because making a version of The Big Chill for the stupid comedy crowd wasn't enough, Adam Sandler has returned with his inexplicably still-employed friends Kevin James, David Spade and Chris Rock (actually, he's the only one with a career worth a damn) for Grown Ups 2. This time, Sandler's character has moved his family out of the city and back to the small town in which he grew up. This leaves them to contend with the kids (including Taylor Lautner) who have taken over their old stomping ground, old friends like Shaquille O'Neal (who has become a cop), and a scared deer that pisses on Sandler. Whatever.
Growns Ups 2 is directed by Dennis Dugan (Jack & Jill, Growns Ups, Big Daddy) and written by Adam Sandler, Fred Wolf (Black Sheep) and Tim Herlihy (Happy Gilmore). Lenny (Sandler) has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school. David Spade, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Maya Rudolph, Nick Swardson, Taylor Lautner, Shaquille O'Neal and Patrick Schwarzenegger all star in the film arriving on July 12th. Well?
