"Humans are disposable… But man and symbiote combined - this is the new race." Whoa!! Sony Pictures has debuted a third official trailer for the Venom movie, following its premiere inside of Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con. The second teaser trailer was great, but this is even better - and it runs a full 3 minutes. Tom Hardy is journalist Eddie Brock in this anti-hero thriller, directed by Ruben Fleischer. This looks like it might be the movie fans of the dark symbiote have been waiting for. The cast includes Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Riz Ahmed, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Lee, Sailor Larocque, Reid Scott, and a rumored appearance by Tom Holland as Spidey. Okay, this finally looks awesome. Really, really into this - the VFX are looking solid, and it looks extra dark.

One of Marvel's most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen. The intention was to begin a new shared universe featuring the Marvel characters to which Sony has the film rights, though Sony also intends for the film to share the world of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is set in the MCU because of a deal between Sony and Marvel Studios. Rosenberg and Pinkner were set to write, with Fleischer and Hardy brought on-board in May 2017. Filming began in October, in Atlanta and New York. Venom is directed by American filmmaker Ruben Fleischer. The screenplay is written by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, and Kelly Marcel. Sony releases Venom in theaters everywhere starting on October 5th this fall. How does that look?

SDCC: Playful Trailer For DC's 'Shazam!' Movie

"If you want to save the world, say the magic word." Warner Bros has debuted the first teaser trailer for the new Shazam! movie, based on the DC Comics character. This trailer comes straight from inside Hall H, where it was revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego. They've been teasing this Shazam! movie for a while, with some funny photo reveals this week. Now we finally get a peek at the trailer and it looks surprisingly very good - described as Big meets Superman, and that certainly seems the case. Zachary Levi stars as Shazam, and the cast includes Asher Angel as Billy Batson, plus Mark Strong as the Super-Villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, as well as Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Hounsou. This really does look better than expected, even the humor. Levi has been enthusiastic about this role, and it shows in this first bit of footage. This looks fun. Do you agree?

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—Shazam!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong). Shazam! is directed by Swedish filmmaker David F. Sandberg. The screenplay is written by Henry Gayden, from a story by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke. Based on the DC Comics character created by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck. Warner Bros will release DC's Shazam! in theaters everywhere starting on April 5th, 2019.

SDCC: Watch 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' Trailer

"Love live the King." He's back!! Warner Bros has debuted the first official full-length trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. This sequel to Gareth Edwards's Godzilla reboot from 2014 is directed by Michael Dougherty, and looking even more epic as Godzilla must battle other massive monsters, including Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three headed King Ghidorah. And yes we get a very quick glimpse at him in this. Dougherty's Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Millie Bobby Brown (from "Stranger Things") plus Bradley Whitford, Vera Farmiga, Sally Hawkins, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Kyle Chandler, Charles Dance, Zhang Ziyi, Thomas Middleditch, with Ken Watanabe. So far, so good! This actually looks amazing - I love the Clair De Lune music, it looks so massive and spectacular and thrilling, oh my goodness.

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient superspecies, thought to be mere myths, rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance. Godzilla: King of the Monsters is directed by American filmmaker Michael Dougherty. The screenplay is written by Max Borenstein, Zach Shields, and Michael Dougherty. Warner Bros will release Godzilla: King of the Monsters in theaters everywhere starting May 31st, 2019 next summer. First impression? Excited?

'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' Trailer Is Action-Packed And Gorgeous!

https://e-manic.blogspot.com/2018/06/spider-man-into-spider-verse-trailer-is.html

"In your universe, there's only one Spider-Man. But there's another universe… It looks and sounds like yours - but it's not." This looks AMAZING!! Sony has debuted a new full-length trailer for their animated adventure Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which looks like it features groundbreaking animation techniques and style. Phil Lord & Chris Miller wrote the script and are producing this film, and they're very excited to share it. Shameik Moore provides the voice of Miles Morales, and the full cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson, and Lily Tomlin, along with surprise guests. I am super duper excited for this. I haven't seen such fresh and unique animation in a while. I love what they're doing, I love how wacky & weird it seems, everything about it makes me smile. My only issue - not a fan of Johnson as the original Spidey voice. But still! So good.

https://e-manic.blogspot.com/2018/06/spider-man-into-spider-verse-trailer-is.html

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. https://e-manic.blogspot.in/2017/05/final-trailers-for-spider-man.html

"What are you hiding, Peter?" Sony has unleashed two more trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming, hitting theaters in the middle of the summer. Tom Holland stars as (the new) Peter Parker, who was first introduced in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War. This story continues with Parker returning from the events in that movie, still trying to figure out his place as a teenager in NYC. The focus seems to be entirely on the city, and it's cool to see him caring about stolen bikes and old ladies. The full cast includes Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Michael Keaton as The Vulture, as well as Donald Glover, Robert Downey Jr., Martin Starr, Logan Marshall-Green, Angourie Rice, Hannibal Buress, and Zendaya. I like the US version of these trailers more, better footage. Looking forward to this.

New 'Blade Runner 2049' Trailer Is Smart & Intense!

https://e-manic.blogspot.in/2017/05/new-blade-runner-2049-trailer-is-smart.html

"There is an order to things. That's what we do here - we keep order." Warner Bros has unveiled the second trailer for the new Blade Runner 2049 movie, a sequel to the original seminal sci-fi classic Blade Runner, first released in 1982. Directed by one of my favorite working filmmakers, Denis Villeneuve, with Ridley Scott consulting as well, the more we see from this movie, the better it looks. This direct sequel takes place 30 years after the original story, and stars Ryan Gosling as the new LAPD Officer who must find Deckard, who has been missing all this time. Harrison Ford returns to play Deckard, and the new cast of 2049 also includes Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Dave Bautista, Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James as well as David Dastmalchian. This looks absolutely spectacular, with stunning cinematography thanks to Roger Deakins, and the same grittiness as the first one. I so can't wait to see this.

This Final Trailer For 'Wonder Woman' Is Epic in Every Single Way!

"Be careful with mankind, Diana. They do not deserve you." Warner Bros has released one final trailer for the Wonder Woman movie, due out in less than a month. This is technically the fourth trailer, and likely the final trailer we'll see before release, but it's one of the best ones yet. This solo spin-off movie in the DC Universe is set during World War I stars Gal Gadot (from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) as the Amazonian princess-warrior Diana who becomes Wonder Woman. Patty Jenkins directs, with a full cast featuring Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Samantha Jo and Saïd Taghmaoui. There has been criticism about WB not marketing this movie enough, but with this epic trailer there's plenty to be excited about. Fire it up.

Thor Battles An Incredible "Friend From Work" In 'Thor: Ragnarok' Trailer!

https://e-manic.blogspot.in/2017/04/thor-battles-incredible-friend-from.html

"Now I know what you're thinking: how did this happen? Well, it's a long story…" Holy smokes this looks so awesome. Disney + Marvel have revealed the first teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, the next sequel in the Thor series. This is directed by New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi, who brings his own comedic edge to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor, with a seriously kick ass cast: Cate Blanchett as Hela, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, plus all of the others from before including Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. There's a very cool sci-fi side to this that looks so cool (plus it feels like this fits right into the Guardians of the Galaxy universe) but it's all about the big battle between Thor and Hulk that we get a tiny glimpse of at the end of this trailer. Warner Bros has unleashed the first official trailer for DC's Justice League, featuring tons of action-packed footage of the team of five superheros from the DC Comics world coming together to save the world. This is the first actual trailer aside from the Comic-Con footage last year. Justice League is the continuation of the Batman v Superman series in the DC universe bringing together five super-powered beings: Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. There may be a few others, and the extensive cast includes Willem Dafoe, Jeremy Irons, Amber Heard, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Honestly this looks pretty damn cool, just pure entertainment, with a few epic shots at the end. Will it live up to the hype? Only time will tell.
