The future belongs to those who know where they belong. Following yesterday's new poster for the adaptation of Veronica Roth's best-selling young adult novel of the same name, a new full theatrical trailer for Divergent has arrived. Shailene Woodley takes her first step into sci-fi action (since we're not sure she'll turn up in The Amazing Spider-Man sequels anymore), and it definitely has The Hunger Games vibe to it, but there's something that still feels cheap. There doesn't seem to be any real action in the trailer, and we don't know what's happening in that last shot to make it exciting. Hopefully the film has more to deliver.
Here's the new poster for Neil Burger's adaptation of Divergent via MTV:
Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group, and when she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late. Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson, Mekhi Phifer, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz and more star in the film from director Neil Burger (Limitless), written by Evan Daugherty and Vanessa Taylor, based on Veronica Roth's book of the same name. Divergent hits theaters on March 21st, 2014.
