'The LEGO Movie' Spoofs 'Man of Steel' in New Trailer

We've already gotten a fun TV spot showing off the voice of Channing Tatum as Superman, but now The LEGO Movie has gotten a great new trailer inspired by The Man of Steel, which is also a Warner Bros. production. This one uses voiceover by Morgan Freeman in place of Kevin Costner, speaking of the Master Builder that Emmet (Chris Pratt) must become to save the world. It shows off some of the cool animated action, but also with the great humor for which Phil Lord & Chris Miller have become known. Complete with the same score cues, it's a great way to sell The LEGO Movie to anyone who isn't already sold.

Here's the new trailer for Phil Lord & Chris Miller's The LEGO Movie  from Warner Bros. Pictures:

The LEGO Movie is a 3D animated film written and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film follows Emmet, a completely ordinary, rules-following, LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Morgan Freeman all lend their voices to the film Warner Bros. sends to theaters on February 7th, 2014.
