Gal Gadot, Elodie Young, Olga Kurylenko in Auditions for 'Batman vs. Superman'

Yesterday, we rounded up some rumors about who might show up in Batman vs. Superman, with one of the biggest being that of actresses like Jaimie Alexander (Thor: The Dark World) and Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion) testing for a female role in the film that many believe to be Wonder Woman. Now those rumors have more weight, but could potentially be more flimsy as well. Variety reports Gal Gadot (star of the last three Fast & Furious films) and Elodie Yung (Jinx from G.I. Joe: Retaliation) either have or will test for the same role that Kurylenko has tested for already. But there's another possibility for this female lead.

While some firmly believe this casting is for Wonder Woman (if you look at all the actresses, they certainly fit the description of the heroine), there's also the chance that it's merely for Bruce Wayne's love interest. Pushing the other way though, the description of the character, "“tall, brunette, athletic and exotic," all good descriptors of Wonder Woman. It would be an interesting twist if this character was Bruce Wayne's love interest throughout the film, but then it turns out she was Wonder Woman, just trying to get close to Batman for something other than romance. It's still early days, and with no details, speculation will run rampant. It would be great if the DC Universe expanded even more in this film, but we'll see what happens.
